I am inspired by the bounty of the seasons and strive to be aware of where we buy our food and how we use it. I use the lessons taught by my mother, my mentors and the local suppliers we work with.
Our food is Local, Sustainable and Farm Fresh influenced by my background from Lancaster County, PA.

Jerry Hollinger was born in Ephrata, Pennsylvania and has a Mennonite background. His parents owned Hollinger Market, a grocery store that focused on locally sourced and natural foods long before the concept really existed. He grew up with a love of cooking and after working as a private chef, line cook and sous chef for Jean Michel in Bethesda and then started his first business, a boutique catering company. He opened the Daily Dish, A Restaurant and Catering Company in June 2009 with Zena Polin. He enjoys making wholesome food that is reminiscent of family dinners surrounded by his parents and six brothers and sisters.
