Since graduating from San Diego Culinary Institute in 2010, Chef Ami Cisneros has been working in San Diego kitchens learning from some of the city’s most respected chefs. At Alchemy, under the guidance of World Food Champion Chef Ricardo Heredia, Cisneros really learned to hone her culinary skill set by learning and applying a wide variety of techniques and flavors into line cooking and special menu development. Making her way around local kitchens, Cisneros continued to broaden her knowledge of modern gastronomy and kitchen management, taking advantage of local produce and seafood and sourcing her ingredients thoughtfully with the help of local purveyors. Cisneros continues on working to perfect and expand her skills, technique and outlook on cooking.
