Candlelighters Evening of Hope: Join me and 15 other top restaurateurs from Las Vegas on March 3rd, for a Culinary Epicurean Artist Event to benefit the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada being held at The World Market. The Evening of Hope is a culinary experience, bringing together delicious bites from some of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas, an art gallery created by the Candlelighters Kids, a silent and live auction, all to raise awareness for children battling cancer.
Vegas Australian Wagyu Event: I got a special invitation to attend as a guest, the Vegas Australian Wagyu Event on February 22, 2017! Henderson Seafood & BBQ Festival 2017: On October 21, 2017, my hometown will be hosting one of the largest Seafood Festivals around. This festival will feature dozens of restaurants and vendors, live music, cooking demonstrations, seafood stores, and the head table that will feature ME, Chef Will. This event will have EVERYTHING seafood, from shrimp, crab, lobsters and oysters, to scallops, clams, mussels and a wide variety of fresh fish, prepared and cooked in the most amazing ways possible.
2016 World Food Championships: I was selected as the 1st Place winner for the state of Nevada for a special signature chicken & waffles dish. I get to represent my state in November for the Grand Prize! Join me and other celebrity chefs, culinary experts from the media and press, and special guest judges. This weekend long event has many other contests and competitions, along with some awesome charitable causes that we will definitely be supporting. The event is November 11-13, so don't miss out!

Private Chef & Ragin’ Cajun Cookin’ (RCC) Founder, Will Staten, was raised by military parents and has lived across the globe, before finally settling down in “Sin City” Las Vegas, Nevada for the last 25yrs. While he started in the food industry, his college path and career life focused on the Martial Arts, as he was one of the most successful Martial Arts businessmen on the West Coast. Learning the discipline of the arts and fighting, lead him to change his career path and head back to the thing he loved most, food. Having worked in and opening restaurants as a line cook, food server and bartender, he also had the business expertise of owning and managing separate businesses for the last 20yrs. He has the experience to operate every part of an establishment, from FoH & BoH, to Leadership and Accounting skills. With extensive experience in the culinary field in a variety of positions, he has worked in and opened such places as Chili’s, Commander’s Palace LV, P.F. Chang’s at the Aladdin, Fat Tuesday’s in MGM, and even was a private and personal chef for clients in The Southern Highlands Country Club.

Starting in 2012, he launched his signature product line Dubs’ Rubs, which focuses on creating the best spice rubs, marinades, BBQ sauces, and hot sauces. That same year, RCC was founded as a component to add to the product line, but has since taken over as the vehicle that will propel all his culinary visions forward at a rapid rate. He is currently the Resident Chef at Williams-Sonoma in The District at Green Valley Ranch along with running his Private Chef and Catering business, RCC, that will be launching Pop-Up events and Charity Fundraisers at local restaurants in 2017. While the Pop-Ups are a key component to the overall success, the ultimate dream (which is being worked on and financing sought after) is the food truck that shall launch in the Summer of 2017, and will also culminate into the vision of a restaurant in the future.


After implementing the concept of Dubs’ Rubs and RCC, and with the support of his girlfriend Nina, he decided to open the doors to more corporate events, and cookery courses, which very quickly gained momentum. That momentum has opened the doors for him to shows like MasterChef & The Food Network, as well as speaking engagements and being featured on websites, local newspapers/magazines, and multiple media outlets. With that momentum, it further solidified his determination to turn the private chef and catering business, into a food truck dream that he could one day pass on to my daughter.
