Crane Creek Dorpers and White Dorpers

Crane Creek is a 120 acre farm that produces pasture and grows some hay for a large sheep flock (and small goat herd) in northeast Iowa. No grain, antibiotics or hormones are fed to the livestock. The main sheep here are Dorpers and White Dorpers, a shedding sheep that does not need to be sheared and originates from South Africa. They are known world wide for having an incredibly delicious and tender meat. I can attest to that since pretty much the only meat my family eats is Dorper lamb. Every cut is excellent from lamb burger to leg of lamb.Breeding stock is sold all over North American and I also export sheep, including several exports to Russia and many to the Caribbean in recent years. Whole lambs are available for butchering and can be picked up at the farm or delivered to a local locker for processing.
