Since I could stand on on my stool and watch my grandmother bake, I have been in the kitchen. After I got diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, I became extremely interested in the nutrition of the food we actually consume, and how it affects our bodies. I decided to go to the Art Institute of Vancouver to further my knowledge of cooking, and to broaden my horizons in the culinary field.
