Jane Bonacci is a cookbook author, food writer, recipe developer and editor. She is currently writing her first cookbook. Jane is the author of The Heritage Cook, a food blog where she shares favorite recipes, memories, and years of experience in the kitchen, helping people discover the joy of creating home-cooked meals. She fell in love with cooking as a child while helping her grandmother make delicious meals, baked goods and candies for the family.  

Jane is a contributing chef for Gourmet Garden, one of Char-Broil’s All-Star bloggers and recipe developers, and a regular contributor to the Food Network’s FN Dish. She managed the Digital Media Awards for the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP), is a cookbook judge for the IACP Cookbook Awards, and was a presenter at the BlogHer Food conference. She is on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Professional Food Society (SFPFS), a manager for the Secret Recipe Club Internet group, a member of IACP, The Baker’s Dozen, the Int’l Food, Wine and Travel Writers Assn. (IFWTWA), and Slow Food USA organizations.
