I enjoy fusion cooking. I consider my style pretty much a Caribbean Fusion style: fresh, tropical and sub-tropical ingredients to make some amazing blends. I love tapping into my roots and create twists of the traditional while preserving it's integrity.

The team was a "delight" to have at the Forum for Diaspora Re-integration with the President Michel Martelly. The team was very professional, on time and on point. Their work ethic was outstanding: a lot of class, very knowledgeable and courteous! I will make sure to always use their services for other upcoming events.

Sensory Delights, LLC
Executive Chef/ Owner

Alain Lemaire, also known as Chef Lemaire is a food service professional and consultant out of South Florida; Co-owner and Executive Chef of Sensory Delights, and has worked in some notable food service facilities such as the Harbor Beach Resort Association in Michigan and the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Downtown Atlanta.

A native of Port-au-Prince Haiti, Alain began helping his mother at a young age in church functions. He developed an increasing passion for food and food service. After high school, he pursued that passion by moving to Florida where he attended Johnson & Wales University in Miami. Alain graduated with honors as a member of the Silver Key Honor Society and Chaine des Rotisseurs and Magna Cum Laude. He has managed to gain tremendous experience and embrace the diverse culinary options the city has to offer. Caribbean and Latin flavors play a major role in his style of cooking. He has been exploring the fusion world where he combines the flavors of his heritage with dishes from other regions.

Alain has a huge interest in helping others and his community: mentoring, coaching, training etc... he is always reaching out to young and upcoming professionals, new and established businesses alike to provide his assistance wherever is needed.  Alain strongly believes in community outreach, and youth empowerment which is why he periodically stops by High Schools to do small seminars and career days with students.

Currently one of the managing partners of Soleil Entertainment, LLC whose goal is to promote Haitian Culture through theater, and performing arts. Over the past year, the organization's target was to showcase the real side of Haiti, her beauty, what she has to offer and her potential through plays while providing a platform for young individuals without a voice.

Alain is also one of the Founding Members and the Secretary General of the Haitian Culinary Alliance whose goal is to create a network of food service, culinary and hospitality professionals of Haitian descent while providing mentoring and educational resources to the affiliates. This organization aims to showcase Haiti's rich culture and empower young Haitians and Haitian descent alikes.

Over the past year, Chef Lemaire has been traveling through different cities in the United States and overseas for events such as Haiti's Food & Beverage Festival; the Boca Raton Wine & Food Festival; Haiti Chefs for Education and much more. One of Alain's career highlights was to participate at the Chefs for Obama Miami event back in September 2012, where he had the chance to be amongst some of the best chefs of South Florida. So far this year, Alain has participated in the Deerfield Food & Wine Festival, Colors of the Caribbean. On May 11, 2013 Alain is one of the organizers of Taste of Haiti held in Miami Florida with the Haitian Culinary Alliance. Taste of Haiti is a cultural event to help promote and introduce Haiti's Gastronomy, arts and crafts, and destinations to Haitians and non-Haitians alike. This event is set to be annual and multi-city.

Alain's goal, along with the Alliance, is to pass on the same opportunity that was given to him onto others. Alain has been recently nominated by Black Street in the Culinary Category for the Black Celebration Awards for his work in the black community.
