No restaurant? No problem. Chef J Rivas of dinner by JR is carving a niche in Temecula Valley with his one-of-a-kind, one-time-only menus like Depeche FOOD: a plated pop-up dinner held January 13, 2018. This was the first dinner in the underground supper club’s 2018 series.
“We launched dinner by JR last year as a step towards our brick and mortar, where we will tell our story with food. Our pop-ups are ‘about the FOOD’ – where it is sourced, how it is treated, how it is prepared and, most of all, the emotion it evokes. I want to help people get back to what it means to break bread with those around you.”

‘Depeche FOOD’ (a name inspired by a hit band of the 80s), pays tribute to food hits of the same era, reinterpreted by Chef J Rivas. This and the other dinners are social dining experiences centered on food and wine!
