Since as long as I can remember I have gravitated to the kitchen. As a child I would spend hours learning all that my mother could teach me in the kitchen. I was inspired to expand this knowledge by watching celebrity chefs such as Justin Wilson, Jeff Smith, Graham Kerr, and Julia Child on television.
The inquisitive nature of a restless spirit, and a passion for all things edible took me to Southern California where I began my culinary career in 1991 working for Hyatt Hotels as a line cook. Since that time I have worked for ITT Sheraton, Marriott, and Renaissance hotels around the country in various managerial capacities.
I left the corporate hotel environment in 2009 to begin a new career path with Iguana Isle developing an Island inspired line of Seasoning blends and sauces . In 2010 I was took the Island Inspired philosophy of Iguana Isle one step further and opened the British Market, paying tribute to all things British with a fully stocked Pie Stall and retail shop located in Naples, Florida.
