Spending time in the kitchen has been one of my passions since I was a kid. I enjoy learning about different cultures, their food & customs. I find that dishes and ingredients utilized in different parts of the world help to trace and make connections throughout history.I decided to study Gastronomy in a country different to my own in order to immerse myself in a culture that I knew very little about. This experience has helped me become more tolerant and open-minded about customs and traditions. My experience in México has been nothing but amazing due to its vast history and gastronomy. I have also enjoyed working with people from all over México. Making new friendships and acquaintances has opened up job and learning opportunities that could only be obtained by living in Baja California.I intend to continue applying the same philosophy, spending time in new areas, to expand my knowledge and understanding of cultures and their traditions. I believe that experiences like these transcend in my development as a professional and person.
