Food & cooking was something I always loved but never really saw it as a career. I was in my last year of college & no longer interested or inspired by what I was majoring in. I got an opportunity to start in a fine dining kitchen as a dishwasher and prep cook, with the promise of being taught to cook as long as I had a desire to do it. That was over 10 years ago and I never looked back.
