About

Prior to moving to the Jackson area, Mr. Ric Testani was raised in the personal service business and on his own for more than 40 years providing superior personal services. He has served 33 years in the Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale communities of Broward County Florida and two year President of The Estates of Fort Lauderdale Community Club. Ric had experience being the Social Director for a 700 family Country Club. Ric also served eight years with The Broward County Regional Health Services Planning Council, as the Community Outreach Specialist, planning public community events. He was also the Owner and Founder of the world’s first 32,000 square foot department Store of Fashion and Beauty. His worldly experiences came from the opportunity to travel with such celebrity recording artists as Evelyn Thomas “High Energy National & International Tour” as her Image Designer. Providing superior personal service and making each person feel as if they were the only one in existence has been a life time achievement. Ric had the opportunity to restore and preserve one of Jackson’s oldest most prominent historical mansions for everyone in the area to enjoy and created very special memories for years to come, as well as preserving some history for the City of Jackson, Tennessee. The legacy of Oakslea Place, Viola’s Restaurant and the Rhett cafe shall live on as being the number one wedding venue and fine dining spot to many celebrities. Specializing in indoor and outdoor southern elegance, Ric received the 2007 Mayor's Civic Pride Award in recognition of outstanding contributions to the enrichment of Jackson, TN. In 2008, Ric and Oakslea were featured in The Treasures of Tennessee & Kentucky. After achieving much success in the West Tennessee area, Ric chose to relocate to his south Florida roots, where he has become one of the top Gardemanger Chefs, master of the ancient art KAE-SA-LUK Vegetable and fruit carving. He is presently creating outstanding displays of fruit, vegetable and cheese platters in to works of art, along with all sorts of carvings and massive display pieces at Exquisite Catering By Robert in North Miami, Florida.
