PLANT-ain Based MIC Food Contest – WINNERS

Last month, we challenged US-based chefs to make a creative, unique, and delicious plantain dish using plantains from MIC Food for the chance to win a ton of incredible prizes! The competition was incredible with so many amazing plantain-based dishes coming in from around the country – however only a few lucky chefs could win. Scroll below to see which chefs the MIC Food judges decided should take home the prizes from Waring Commercial and Cangshan Cutlery!

GRAND PRIZE WINNER

Our Grand Prize Winner is taking home a MASSIVE prize: A brand new 20 quart Planetary Mixer from Waring Commercial‘s new Luna Series AND a fine new blade from Cangshan’s Thomas Keller Signature Collection. Congrats, chef!
