Yuca Cheese Bites with Arrabbiata Sauce

 Mozzarella stuffed Tio Jorge Yuca Cheese Bites from MIC Food with an arrabbiata sauce, olive tapenade, and fresh basil.

Vinaigrette

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp. Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 half Small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 6 large cloves Garlic, sliced thin
  • 1 can Tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup Packed fresh basil leaves, torn or roughly-chopped
  • tt. Salt and pepper

METHOD

  1. Saute chili flakes for 15 seconds.
  2. Add onion and garlic. Saute 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add in tomato puree and fresh basil leaves. Cook no less than 10 minutes. The longer you cook the thicker the sauce will be and flavor will develop.
  4. Season to taste.

Yuca Cheese Bites

INGREDIENTS

  • Tio Jorge Yuca Cheese Bites
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt

METHOD

  1. Deep fry at 350f until cheese starts to melt. 2-3 minutes.
  2. Season with salt out of the fryer.

Pour some sauce into a bowl. Add in Yuca Cheese bites. Top with olive tapenade and fresh basil.
