Congrats to the finalists of the 2022 Chunky CHIPS AHOY! Cookie Pieces Recipe Contest! These 10 finalists created outstanding original recipes showcasing  their culinary skills and creativity using Chunky CHIPS AHOY! Cookie Pieces and are all in the running to win some incredible prizes including huge cash prizes,  high-end chef knives, a Breville Control Freak, and the opportunity to be featured in a  Chef’s Roll original video.

Chunky CHIPS AHOY! Cookie Butter “Croklava”

A new take on the croissant. Less folds and less laminating led to a glorious new discovery! A pastry that takes just like a baklava… but in a different form. Using the method used to make croissants, I created this pastry, tons of buttery layers filled with cookie butter made from Chunky CHIPS AHOY! Cookie Pieces, baked to golden brown crispiness and slathered in even more cookie butter and cookie pieces! Croissant meets baklava…. Croklava!

“Milk & Cookies: A Milky Cake featuring Chunky CHIPS AHOY! Cookies Pieces”

The Chunky CHIPS AHOY! crust soaks in the milk mixture along with the vanilla sponge cake. This gives layers of texture in each bite along with that fond memory of milk and cookies as a child. Folding the Chunky CHIPS AHOY! Cookie Pieces into the mascarpone whipped cream along with some bits of candied pecans takes this baby all the way home. Such a lovely comfort food.
