Chef’s Roll is thrilled to partner with JETRO (The Japan External Trade Organization) and Jobs Ohio to bring a unique, international culinary experience to Columbus, Ohio on September 10th, 2024.
Taste of Saitama is a rare opportunity for chefs and F&B professionals of the greater Columbus area to join a complimentary afternoon of community and education as they taste and sip their way through a selection of products from Saitama, Japan.
Nine exhibitors from Saitama will showcase a variety of products, including sake, craft beer, a craft gin cocktail, udon, soba (buckwheat noodles), soy sauce, karinto (a sweet, crunchy snack), ramen, seasonings, and green tea. Attendees will have the chance to sample these products and meet the producers.
Additionally, we are honored to be joined by the Governor of Saitama, as well as John Gauntner, the renowned Sake Evangelist, who will share a quick presentation about Saitama’s sake.
