Taste of Hope

Chef’s Roll is thrilled to partner with the American Cancer Society’s Taste of Hope as they celebrate their 10th Anniversary.  Taste of Hope is taking place on Thursday, April 30th, 2015 at Metropolitan West in New York City. Taste of Hope is the American Cancer Society’s premier culinary, wine and spirits tasting event attracting passionate patrons of gourmet food and wine with a shared affinity for fighting cancer.  Taste of Hope is not only one of the most highly anticipated Spring culinary events, but it supports an important cause that is near and dear to so many.   Last year, The American Cancer Society had the privilege of honoring one of our own, Chef Elizabeth Falkner at this event, which featured more than 50 notable Chefs and restaurants that served up tastes for over 850 guests, and successfully raised more than $180,000.  In its brief history, Taste of Hope has now fundraised over $1.3 million which supports the American Cancer Society’s mission and goal of eliminating cancer as a major health problem by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures and by fighting back.

Chef Participation:
As a participant, the American Cancer Society will provide our chefs with their own tasting station, signage and recognition on all Taste of Hope promotional materials, website, social media and in the event program.  We ask that chefs provide tasting sized portions for 600 expected guests, bringing with anything you’ll need to prepare your dish. By joining the American Cancer Society’s Taste of Hope, you will not only be our partner in continuing the fight against cancer, but you will also be aligned with one of the most recognizable charities in the world.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your options for participation, please feel contact Elizabeth Mayer at 212.237.3889 or elizabeth.mayer@cancer.org.
