Our panel of judges have chosen the WINNERS for the 2017 National Honey Month Contest!
A big thank you to all the chefs who took part in 2017 National Honey Month Contest. We enjoyed seeing a wide and creative use of honey coming from around the country, from sweet to savory presentations.
After an intense judging process, the panel finally arrived at these conclusions. We’re not going to keep you in suspense any longer! As chosen by the National Honey Board judges, here are your winners.
Grand Prize Winner
Chef Curtis Cameron is our grand prize winner receiveing $500, a custom “Honey-Edition” Nora Knife, and monthly shipments of honey varietals for a year.
Golden Milk & Honey
white chocolate honeycomb, milk meringue, crème fraîche honey brown butter cake, honey jam bonbons, honey ice cream, chocolate bee pollen powder, golden bees made with warm honey and gold luster powder
Runner-Up Prize Winners
Our two runners up will receive monthly shipments of honey varietals for a year plus $150.

Community Choice Prize
Our community choice winner, Greg Czekala, selected by popular vote, will receive a Chef’s Roll gift box, including a Chef’s Roll cap, Chef Spoon, and more goodies. He’ll also receive monthly shipments of honey varietals for a year.
