WHY MAR ANDINO FOR FOODSERVICE?

Mar Andino is a story of brave men and women working in unique locations to provide you sustainably with the healthiest and best Steelhead, born in The Andes, from the Altiplanic heights to the pristine waters of Patagonia. They produce in harmony with the environment, using resources in a responsible way while developing opportunities with their rural communities. Here’s what makes them naturally unique:

1. Pristine Waters

Unique and exclusive water resources which ensure the purest freshwater quality and the best natural environment for their Steelhead. This enables them to produce a 100% natural, healthy fish.

2. Protected Ecosystems

They farm in different regions of The Andes, both in the Altiplanic heights as in the Argentine Patagonia. Each one is isolated, pristine and has a very high-water renewal rate, providing their fish with excellent growing conditions and reducing disease risks significantly.

3. Antibiotic Free

Healthy and natural Steelhead, free of antibiotic use or antiparasitic in the growing stage.

4. Certifications

They operate under the industry’s highest standards to guarantee the preservation of the environment, its biodiversity and water resources. They deliver the best working conditions to their collaborators while respecting and supporting local communities.
