Nashville hot chicken and waffles utilizing Mr. Frank’s Seasonings Spicy Original blend to season the syrup and chicken.

Fried Chicken
INGREDIENTS
- Mix of chicken leg and thighs
- Buttermilk to cover
- Mr. Frank’s Spicy Original seasoning
METHOD
- Marinate your chicken in the buttermilk and 1/4 cup approx. of Mr. Frank’s Spicy Original seasoning.
- Remove and place into seasoned flour and fry at 350f until 165f internal temperature.
- Add 1/2 cup Mr. Frank’s Spicy original seasoning into a bowl. Pour 2 ladles of the hot frying oil over it. Toss the chicken in the hot seasoned oil and place on a wire rack to rest.
Syrup
INGREDIENTS
- Maple Syrup
- Mr. Frank’s Spicy Original seasoning
TO BUILD
- Take Maple syrup and heat in a pan until bubbly.
- Add desired amount of Mr. Frank’s Spicy Original and allow to infuse over medium low heat.
- Pour over chicken and waffles
