My food career started when My husband and I bought a Meat Market, La Altenita Carniceria/Meat Market in 1975. We bought a Taqueria in 1977 and we sold it a few years later. After selling the market, I went to work for Kraft Foods, developing the First Hispanic Department that targeted the Mexican Restaurants. In 199, I started my own Food Broker Company, Catalina Enterprises. The First Brand that I represented and represent is Tapatio Hot Sauce. our other brands include El Mexicano Cheese Company, Flan Rico, El Monte Spice Co, Casa De Dulces, El Peke, Pepe's Foods, Inc. Prince of Peace Tiger Balm, Ginger Chews, and other brands. We Consult with companies that wish to penetrate the Food Service or Retail Markets.
