Congrats to Jesse Houston, the Grand Prize winner of the McCain SureCrisp Showdown!
After Round 4, we reviewed all of the entries that our 4 finalists submitted throughout the competition to determine who would be the ultimate champion of the showdown. Chef Jesse Houston impressed our judges at every stage of the competition with his creative McCain SureCrisp dishes and will be taking home the grand prize of a Polyscience Control Freak along with his Meglio knife, Chef’s Roll Apparel Knife Roll and Chef’s Roll swag bag.

ROUND 1: Greek Fries to Go
SureCrisp fries topped with spicy ground lamb, crumbled feta, cucumbers, shaved red onion, peppers, fresh dill and parsley. Served with lemon and a sheeps milk yogurt tzatziki.
ROUND 2: Mole Fries
Sure Crisp Waffle Fries tossed in taco seasoning, drizzled with home-made molé and lime crema, topped with taqueria pickles, cabbage, fried peanuts, avocado and chilis.
ROUND 3: Milkshake with Truffle and Duck Fat Caramel
Chocolate ice cream blended with fudge, old school chocolate milk, truffle oil and truffle salt. Topped with chocolate whipped cream, duck fat caramel and sea salt. Served with duck fat fried truffle SureCrisp French Fries for dipping.
ROUND 4: Huevos Rancheros Divorciados
Texas Style BBQ Beef Brisket, Sunny Side Up Quail Eggs, Cowboy Beans, Dried Chili Salsa, Salsa Verde, Crema, Avocado Coins, Serrano Chile, Queso Fresco and Cilantro on a Bed of Chile Spiked (as in touch down) SureCrisp Waffle Fries.
