Chef’s Roll put on a Chefs & Bartender Night Out with High West Distillery on Feb. 1, 2016 in San Diego, California. It was a super exclusive whiskey tasting event with renowned craft bartender Tim Zohn mixing his signature Old Fashioned and pouring a range of High West whiskies paired with food crafted by Chef Mikel Anthony and his team – Khine Moore and Erica Villano. Creminelli Fine Meats provided a beautiful spread of artisan charcuterie. Top local restaurateurs, chefs, and craft bartenders were invited, as well as local culinary media. David Perkins, proprietor of High West flew out from Park City, Utah to share his whiskey knowledge and some of his private allocations. Special thanks to Blake & Dove Kirby for hosting the event at their stunning home overlooking downtown and the bay.
