FJORD-TO-FORK CHEF CHALLENGE

Attention US-Based Chefs: Register below for a chance to participate in Seafood from Norway’s Fjord- to-Fork Chef Challenge. Selected chef challengers will receive a delivery of Norwegian salmon and a chance to compete for a $2,000 grand prize.

Fresh from the waters of Norway, Norwegian salmon is versatile while complementing flavors and spices from all corners of the world and is a favorite for sushi and sashimi due to its clean taste and texture. The possibilities are truly endless when it comes to Norwegian salmon…and that’s where you come in!

Register below by July 20 to be one of 50 chefs selected to receive a shipment of Norwegian salmon and let your imagination take the lead as you use your delivery to create your own dish. The versatility of Norwegian salmon means you can explore a delicious breakfast, innovative appetizer, flavorful sandwich, hearty dinner or any other part of a meal you dream up. Whether you choose to bake, grill, poach or sauté, Norwegian salmon lends itself well to a number of different techniques. So have fun getting creative.

From there, you’ll upload a high-quality, thumb-stopping photo of your creation to your public Instagram account, showcasing Norwegian salmon and your culinary creativity. Just tag @norwayseafoodus and use #fjordtoforkchallenge.

Ten finalists will be chosen to receive a custom prize package from Chef’s Roll and Seafood from Norway. One grand prize winner will be selected to receive $2,000 and two runner-up chef challengers will receive $500 each.

2. Selection & Shipping – July 21 – August 7| Seafood from Norway selects challengers to receive salmon & compete
3. Submissions – August 8 – August 22| Create your dish and submit it via Instagram using #fjordtoforkchallenge.
4. Finalists Announced – August 31 – 10 finalists will be announced and will be asked to share their full recipes
5. Winners Announced – September 4
