A few months ago, we partnered up with Spiceology to host a cooking contest like no other – The Life-Or-Death Recipe Challenge! We asked chefs to create delicious no-salt, low-fat recipes utilizing Spiceology’s latest salt-free line for the millions of Americans that live with kidney disease and have a restricted diet. These dishes will be selected to be included in an eCookbook of salt-free and low-fat dishes that will be available through Spiceology.com. Recipes that pass the National Kidney Foundation’s CKD diet certification will be made available on the National Kidney Foundation website as well.
Though hundreds of recipes will be featured in the salt-free cookbook, 10 talented chefs will also be featured on the cover of the recipe book as well as win gift cards to Spiceology. One of these finalists will take home the Grand Prize – a True Cooks knife roll, $300 to Spiceology and a custom Nora Knife.
