Quarantined – Simple Tomato Sauce

A simple and easy tomato sauce.

Tomato Sauce


  • 1/2 ea. Onion
  • 1 bulb Garlic
  • 1 tbsp. Herb blend
  • 1 pack Ham bouillon
  • 2 cans Whole roasted tomatoes 
  • 1/2 cup Red wine


  1. Sweat onions and garlic for 2 minutes.
  2. Add herb blend and ham bouillon packet saute another minute.
  3. Deglaze with red wine.
  4. Add both cans of tomato.
  5. Bring to boil and reduce to simmer. Cook no less than 20 minutes.
  6. Finish with a tbsp of olive oil, dash of red wine vinegar, and a knob of butter.
