I was Born in Chicago, ILL. I moved to Alabama at age 7. My grandmother owned a Restaurant there for 30 years plus where I would spend most of my time watching her run the organization. We also owned a Farm where we grew fresh crops, vegetables,and fruits. Most of my time was spent watching My grandmother cook and prepare food. I learned a lot about real cooking (from scratch) I saw my grandmother use the fat off a pig make her own Lard (grease). She use to cook the fat in a steel black pot where she would pour the liquid and let it hardening and take the skins use it to make some of my favorite Crackling Bread. I learned a lot from Gram about food and cooking she taught me how to make my own preserve and I really didn't catch on too much to syrup making but she made fresh syrup which she would sale through the city. I left my home after graduation joining The U.S. Navy choosing no other but being a cook. I really had the love and feeling in cooking My first duty station was An Air Craft Carrier my first Ship where I begin my career on the ship I was very neat, clean, and stood above the others my Master chief would always reward me he requested that I go work for CNAF which is cooking for admiral, I did that stood out even more where I ended up cooking for 2 more admirals. I have the love for cooking I even got a chance to cook for Celebrities such as Brittany Murphy, M.C. HAMMER, and Shawn Marion.
