Since I was able to walk I would be following my granny around the kitchen trying to learn how to cook. I knew from a little age that I wanted to be a chef and I had no desire to be a pastry chef. I've always been known to be found in the kitchen experimenting with spices and making different sauces, some came out good others not so much. Once I graduated high school I went straight in the corporate work force because that's what was paying the bills. I soon realized that I didn't want to sit behind a desk for the rest of my life. I made the bold decision to move to San Diego and enroll in the Culinary program at Mesa College. While the classes are challenging I enjoy the challenge and the push our Chefs give us to grow within the program. I've grown so much in my skills within these two and a half years and I cant wait to continue to grow outside of school.
