Since I was a little
girl, i can remember the smell of kitchen on my dad's chef's coat coming home
from work. I can remember him, bringing us some new food creation every night.
If it wasn't pizzas or pasta's is used to be some sort of protein or salads and
beautiful deserts. I've always had a passion for food. The way food
taste, feels, looks and it is made. Coming from a Mexican heritage and having a
father working in an Italian and French restaurant for over 25 years, it has
had a huge influence on the way we eat today. My whole family has been
or is currently working in the culinary field. My father starting from a
dishwasher to an executive chef, my mother a dishwasher, my uncles line cooks
and executives chef's. My brother currently working at a pizza place and my boyfriend
currently a line cook as well. They have all inspired me to get into this
wonderful profession.
I am currently attending
The Art institute to achieve my Bachelor's in Culinary Management. It is my
goal to gain all the experience and knowledge I can so one day I could set up a
family restaurant and continue showing the new upcoming generation the art of
food.
