Congratulations to the winners of the Tender Belly Bacon Feast Contest! 75 competitors were selected to create an entry using complimentary samples of Tender Belly’s epic, premium bacon, and we were blown away by the submissions. After serious deliberation, the Tender Belly judging team selected these three winners.

PB & Love Me Tender… Belly
Inspired by Elvis, we have crispy a peanut butter, banana, and honey “uncrustable” topped with screwball peanut butter and bacon whiskey gelato, dark chocolate peanut butter bacon chocolate bar, dark chocolate candied bacon, fat washed screwball peanut butter and bacon whiskey caramel sauce, smoked bacon Carmel popcorn, & smoked bacon nut brittle. Paired with a fat washed peanut butter bacon old fashioned.
Judges’ comment: “The use of bacon across all of the elements is exceptional. Also, it looks and sounds like it would be incredible. Finally, it uses bacon to elevate flavor in a category we don’t usually associate with Bacon.”

Bacon wrapped California breakfast burrito
Tender Belly bacon wrapped California burrito with marinated carne asada, candied tender belly bacon, crispy potato, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, guajillo salsa, crema, and pickled onions. A tender belly bacon breakfast feast!
Judges’ Comment: “This takes a classic breakfast to the next level and uses bacon to accomplish that mission. It is definitely the ‘antithesis of mediocrity’ (a Tender Belly mantra) in a breakfast burrito.”
Tender Belly Bacon and duck bombs
Ground culver duck, diced shallot and jalapeño, wrapped around smoked Gouda cheese, and all bundled up inside crispy hoisin glazed Tender Belly bacon.
Judges’ Comment: “This looks so delicious, it could jump off of the page. It definitely takes a unique spin on what you can do with Bacon in a very appealing foodie-forward manner.”
