Idaho Cheeseburger Battle

Time to show us your most creative cheeseburger idea using beef and (cow’s milk) cheese for a chance to win VALUABLE cash prizes and bragging rights!

July is Idaho Beef Month and we’re celebrating all the hard work and passion our ranchers and dairy farmers put into producing a great product. We’re hosting an exciting statewide contest with the Idaho Beef Council and Dairy West to find the best cheeseburger in Idaho. If you’re an Idahoan chef or restaurant operator, create a unique cheeseburger featuring beef and cow’s milk cheese and then fill out the form below to submit photos and a dish description of your burger to battle for the chance to win BIG. There are cash prizes up for grabs and multiple chances to win, including a $3,000 First Place, $2,000 Second Place, $1,000 Third Place, and a $1,000 People’s Choice Prize!

CONTEST TIMELINE

  1. Cheeseburger Creation and Submission: Chefs located in Idaho or who have a restaurant location in Idaho will create and submit a cheeseburger using cow’s milk cheese and a 100% beef patty. Using the form below, please provide a high-resolution photo and detailed description of your original cheeseburger (no AI generated photos will be accepted). Entries must be submitted by July 26, 2026.
  2. Judging and Winner Announcement: Judging will take place in early August with first, second, and third place selected by the Idaho Beef Council and Dairy West. The people’s choice winner will be selected by consumers’ top vote. Winners will be announced on August 18, 2026.
