I am a 31 year old career culinarily who is not afraid to take chances and I never want to quit learning and growing as a chef and a human being. At the height of my career so far I took a step back to manage a team in manufacturing plant so my wife could attend and complete nursing school. I have just recently gotten back into the kitchen full time, although I did hold part time cooking jobs through most of my 4 year stint in manufacturing. I cannot count that four years as a loss, however, because I was given extensive training and guidance on my skills as a manager. The city I live in does not really offer much for someone like me who is looking to be creative and inspiring chef. I am currently working for a good friend of mine in in his kitchen. I am constantly reading books, watching videos, and obsessing over the things that top class chefs are accomplishing right now. Curtis Duffy is a very man and the chance to stage under him at Grace is what led me to create this profile.
