Grew up in Southeast Arkansas in a small country town called Mitchellville. I'm the third child and oldest son of six kids. I grew up exposed to a lot of backyard farms and in the art of making something out of nothing. My mother taught my brothers and I all how to cook in order to be self-sufficient bachelors once we became adults. I joined the United States Marine Corps with ambitions to become proficient in satellite operation and maintenance. I really fell in love with cooking during my nine years in the military. I would spend off days or every other weekend cooking big meals or barbecuing for my junior marines. Before being separated from the military I had made up my mind that I wanted to pursue culinary and I wanted to be an entrepreneur. I love art and food, so my dream is to combine the two to truly touch those who taste my cuisine.
