What surprises a lot of people is when I tell them I don't like sweeties. Wanting to be a baker and not liking sweets doesn't really add up. But as a child, I was never into what the pastries and desserts I ate really tasted like, for me it was all about how the looked. What drew me in was if I thought the item of front of me was "cute ". I was oppressed with everything having to look cute. And whenever I say something look cute, I intently wanted it, even if I didn't need or liked it. When I saw the smiles of the other children and customers reacting to same way I would, when looking at a bear shaped bread or cake, it was something I wanted to learn and do on my own. My goal is one day own my café where I can sell cute pastries for those who will come in to my shop.
